The Easter Bunnies
Ted and Bill from East New York
Went out one day to take a walk
For they were actors young and bold
Who found themselves out in the cold
Any job is what they sought
Yet all attempts had brought them nought
Then they saw a big store ad
Things it seems were not too bad
The store required two nice hunnies
To play the part of Easter bunnies
"Not a chance" said angry Ted
I think I'd rather wind up dead
Bill however thought awhile
And then he gave a knowing smile
"It's this or nothing" he repoled
Our acting career as all but died
Mrs. Weiner ran the store
And had not heard the likes before
"Most unusual" she confessed
Then quickly got them stripped and dressed
"In you go" she gave a smile
"You will be in there for quite a while"
This confirmed Ted's worst fears
A furry hem and floppy ears
"Not bad legs" said Mrs. Weiner
"Haven't seen two pairs much finer."
It's amazing what an actor tries
And often it needs compromise
"You work to eat" that isn't funny
When you're stuck there as an easter bunny
Bravery, that is this fair story
And here they are in all their glory!
