Do Not Criticize Others
This is Dale, very scary
Who ended up dressed as a fairy
The reason being very plain
He played a very dangerous game
His sister, sweet young little Fay
Was in the school Christmas play
Dale kept laughing at her part
And the young girl took it all to heart
She told her teacher Mrs. Breer
She no longer wanted to appear
She was crying, not surprising
Saying Dale was always criticizing
Making fun and sneering too
Mrs. Breer knew what to do
She contacted the children's mum
And told her just what Dale had done
"Good grief!" she cried "We can't have that
How shall we punish the little brat"
They gave some thought and here we are
Dale about to be a star
All dressed up with halo too
Now he's the one who's feeling blue
His sister now can learn her lines
She is dancing in the under nines
As for Dale well if you please
He's been put with the under threes
His mates all think he looks divine
And laugh at him at rehearsal time
Dale no longer laughs or sneers
Now he's the one who seems in tears
This year he has to be a fairy
And in the nativity he's down as Mary.
