Demise of Colin
This sad tale of Colin Page
Left his mother in a rage
His teacher brought to school from home
A magic celtic shrinking stone
Appeared the legend's text
Said treat the stone with great respect
Colin did not pay attention
And ended up in school detention
But worse than that was soon to follow
Something Mother couldn't swallow
By throwing the stone before one's eyes
Caused the boy to shrink in size
Down he went from five foot ten
To four foot six, then down again
The teacher tried to put things right
'Twas most a strange mysterious sight
His mother shuddered at the door
Colin now was three foot four
She took him home and straight to bed
And the details of the spell she read
Once shrunk by stone none can return
This mystic lesson they must learn
Forever they shall stay this small
No option for escape at all
His mother took him out of school
Lest Colin looked a proper fool
Two foot three he reached that night
It really was a spooky sight
He stayed that size for nigh two years
Confirming mother's secret fears
She had no option when at the mall
To dress him as a baby doll
And here he is still shrinking still
He's standing on the window sill.
