| Iced Earth is by far the best band to see live, they got me more pumped up than ever i almost permanently injured my neck. I got the chance to meet this man right here, Jon Schaffer. His riffs blow me away and not to mention the amazing live show he and the band put on. Jon has been a big inspiration for me in a way that you dont need to be huge in the world to be huge in other peoples minds, and how your music can still affect people even if it isnt shown on mtv. I have a new look on music and am going to follow Iced Earths low profile path and play music for not only myself but for the fans who are out there to hear some damn good shit and you get it all with Iced Earth. I mean they hit me like a truck I heard the song Wolf and i about flew out of my seat, I searched for days looking for them. And luckily me and my cousin Kyle(hey man) FINALLY FOUND THE GODS. After only about 8 months of listening to them i got 5 of their cds and GOT TO SEE THEM LIVE. I can die happy that I shared 2 minutes with Schaffer because he is the smartest and best metal player out there. He knows what goes on in the metal world and he knows how to Hammer through all the hard times, and contravercy, they were once called SELL OUTS. well those who say it, go listen to your slipknot your not worthy..... ..............LET THE REIGN BEGIN |
