I mean- Chandler, if that guy is straight, then I am Naomi Campbell! I could do a PhD in Psychology based on his closet case! (thnx to El from Slashcom that helped me with this one) Just look: 1) His father is gay and Chandler obviously despises his old man. Being like him is out of question. 2) He wants everyone to like him. Excuse me, but gay men are not always liked, mostly just because of who they are. 3) Funny, handsome, smart... ouch! What a combo. 4) Ross, his best friend married a lesbian and was EXTREMELY unhappy with the fact. Now imagine Chandler, who loves Ross a lot and doesn't want to hurt him, saying: 'Hey! Guess what your ex and I have in common'. Eh, I don't think so! 5) In that episode that everyone in the office thought that he is gay, Lowell (gay) said: "Speaking for my people, I'd have to say no" (when Chandler asked him does he has a 'quality'). Ok, may I emphasize "for my people". It's like: be straight, we don't want You here... it's well known that Chandler is not very much liked by his colleagues. 6) Went to all-male school ('sorry' for all the straight men out there ;) but You see my point) 7) He protests *way* too much. Let me quote Mr. Bing himself: 'I say, Drew! Are you seeing anybody right now? Og-ee-op, I�m not asking for me, I�m� I mean� No, I�m-I�m not gay, I�m not asking you out. I�m not-I�m not-I�m not gay!' 8) Monica... well, calling her DA BEARD would be cruel but I've never said that I'm not cruel! Monica is more like a mum for him, than a girlfriend. Someone once said, that having sex with your best friend is almost incest. 9) Joey... oh, that... I could talk for hours about it. If Chandler is gay, he could be in love with Joey and if not in love, then at least had a thing for him (after all Joey is pretty HOT!). The last thing Chandler needs is his (almost) best friend hating him. I, personally, don't think that Joey could hate Chandler ever but You know how it is with denial- it seeks for every reason to BE. 10) He's just SO gay!!!! 11) And of course, we all remember that oh so famous: "Excuse me? You don't think I could get a Brian? Because I could get a Brian. Believe you me. ...I'm really not." and "Out of my league. I could get a Brian. If I wanted to get a Brian, I could get a Brian. "
