| Hello all. My name is Eelsekius Williams and I created this page.I tried to make this page enjoyable to everyone, including non-masons.I want a visit to this site to be a learning experience for everyone. First I'll give you my Masonic Resume. I Received my Master Masons (3rd ) degree on November 25, 1995 at Onward Lodge #321 in my home town of Memphis, Tennessee. Just as masons across the globe, I became interested in The Craft thru my family.Although my father,uncles,cousins(All of the males on my fathers side are Masons) belonged to lodges, they never told me "your goin to be a Mason when you grow up". I saw the positive examples these men provided and as most children I wanted to imulate my dad and everything he was. As a youth I became a member of Chelsea Council #8 Order of the Knights of Pythagoras(brothers if no councils have been established in you district, talk to your District Deputy). For those who don't know its a youth organization for males ages 12 to 21(in Tennessee) that is overseen by Masons. It meets, elects officers ,marches in parades etc. similar to a Masonic Lodge, though it is not a "junior masonic" order. It did not stress becoming a Mason to its members, but most of us traveled further to become Masons anyway. I demited(to transfer membership) to Kirjathjearim #104 because I realized to be effective in the order in which I belong, I have to be active in the district in which I live. Since 1995 I have become Affiliated with several other Masonic orders. I also belond to: Mt. Sinai #135 Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Mt Ararat #5 Council of Royal & Select Masters, Apollo Commandry #1 Order of Knights Templar, as well as Hella Temple #105 Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. There are several other web sites on the web that speak of Masonry in a negative light, claiming that the order is satanic,teaches immoral lessons, and misleads its members to believe that they are above other citizens. Since the begining of time, man has spoken negatively about issues in which he does not understand, and Masonry is not exempt. I challenge all of the uninformed to research the subject with an open state of mind and not to accept what their friend heard or what the A&E Channel said on their special last night. Masonry is NOT a religion even though the bible is widely used in Masonic practice so don't look at it as such. The first thing people like to do when they hear of something a Mason has done wrong is to blame Masonry. Lets use a little common sense when trying to judge others. You would not like to be held accountable for everything in the past that was done by someone belonging to the same race as you(think about it!).
