PRACTICAL TRAINING REPORT
Brief:
I underwent Practical Training Program at M/S. Creative Design Group,
Bhubaneswar, India
from 1st November 2003 to 30th April
2004.
During this period I worked on twenty projects which included measured drawings, digitization,
3d simulations, site visits, designs and execution of residents, apartments,
commercial complexes, office embellishments, country clubs, and resorts and
housing projects.

The brief of the projects handled are as
follows:
Projects:
1.
GUEST HOUSE:
It is a guest
house, a Holiday home for the staff of West
Bengal Fishermen’s Cooperative Federation Ltd. (BENFISH) at Puri in Orissa,
India. I worked and assisted in the preparation of approval drawing.
2.
RESIDENCE-I:
It’s a duplex
residence for Mr. Nazrul Hasnain
of Bilaspur in Chhatishgarh, India. It has 4 bedroom units cum office with
4188.41 SFT of total built-up area. I worked and assisted in the preparation of approval drawing.
3.
SWAPNAPURI APARTMENT:
It’s a housing
project for client M/S Versatile Constructions Pvt.Ltd
at Bhubaneswar,
in the state of Orissa,
India. Its an apartment
consisting of 16 units
with 3 bedroom unit. I worked and assisted in the preparation of five sectional elevation drawings.
4.
FORUM MART:
It’s a shopping cum office
building for client Mr.Harbir Singh And M/S Rahul & Co. at Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India.
It has a total built up area of 197000sft.I
went for a total of 19 site visits for the project with the project architect.
During the visits I compiled observations and inferences on lighting, flooring
and tiling, finish, fixing and fibre reinforced
plastic. I worked and assisted in the preparation
of final approval drawings during which I calculated the total built
up area and the FAR for the same.
5.
RESIDENCE-II:
It is a
residence for client Mr.Raghuram Patra at Bhubaneswar,
in the state of Orissa,
India. It is a 3-Bedroom
Unit Residence with Ground floor (2000 SFT), first floor (2000 SFT) and second
floor (1000 SFT). I worked in the preparation of electrical drawing layout and detailing of doors and windows.
6.
RESIDENCE-III:
It is a
residence for client Mr. Rabindra Narayan Senapati at Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India.
It is a 3 It is 3 bedroom units duplex with total
built up area of 2400 SFT.I worked and assisted in the preparation of electrical drawing layout.
7.
RESIDENCE BUNGALOW:
It is a
neoclassical renaissance residential bungalow for client Mr. Pradeep
Bagri at Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India.
It has 4 bedrooms along with family living, gymnasium etc with Ground floor
area of 10000SFT area. I worked and
assisted in the preparation of
electrical drawing layout.
8.
RESIDENCE –IV:
It is a
residence for client Mr.B.C.Panda at Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India.
It has ground floor as simplex and upper floor as 3 bedroom duplex. I worked in the conceptual drawings for the designing of the residence.
9.
RESIDENCE –V:
It is a
residence for client Mr.Manjit Singh at Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India.
It has a ground plus duplex pattern. I worked in the preparation of 3d Simulation drawing for the Conceptual Elevation and assisted in the preparation of working
drawing.
10. COMMERCIAL
COMPLE:
It’s a hotel cum
shopping complex for client Mr.Satpal Singh at Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India.
It has total built up area of 85,000
SFT. I worked in the Site Layout of
the building.
11. HEAD OFFICE FOR M/S.
M.G.MOHANTY:
It’s a
Corporate Office for the client M/s M.G.Mohanty
It has total built up area of 85000 SFT.
I worked and assisted in the
preparation of 3dsimulation for the interior designing.
12. PROPOSED
TELCO SHOWROOM
It’s a
commercial project of the Authorized Showroom and Service Centre for Tata Motors for Light Vehicles for the client M/S Trupti
Motors at Bhubaneswar,
in the state of Orissa,
India. I worked in the 3d simulation drawings for
the Conceptual Drawings.
13. “THE GREAT ESCAPE” CLUB
It’s a country club for the client M/S
Pancham Studio Pvt.Ltd at Bhubaneswar,
in the state of Orissa, India.
It has F& B outlet, banquet hall and
entertainment facilities for members of the club. I went for site visits to deal with various site problems and its
solutions. I came across the technology of HIT-HY 150 Fast Curing Injection System (hilti). I worked and
assisted in the preparation of conceptual
design for the proposed highway side
road development proposed in the periphery of the club.
14. ROYAL CALCUTTA TURF CLUB
It’s a city club for the client M/S
Royal Calcutta Turf Club at Kolkata, in the state of west Bengal,
India. Its 3.75 acres of
land in the heart of Kolkata and needs to be developed as a social club. I worked and assisted in the data collection for style of Palladian Architecture needed
for the conceptual drawing. I
prepared the report to be submitted
for approval by Heritage Committee regarding
the project.
15. RESIDENCE-V
It is a
residence for client Mr.P.C.Samal at Bhubaneswar,
in the state of Orissa, India.
It is a 6-Bedroom Unit Residence. The ground floor being a simplex unit
consists of two bedrooms and the duplex above with 4 bedrooms. I worked in the area calculation. I went for the site visits during the execution of the work at the site such
as rod binding and roof casting and learn the various site problems.
16. MAYFAIR BEACH
RESORT
It is a four
star resort for client M/S Mayfair at
Puri, in the state of Orissa, India.
It is spread over 1 acre. Amenities include 34 guest rooms, 2 Restaurants, Bar,
Health Club, Swimming Pool, Snooker, and Table Tennis. I went for the site visits to
learn regarding fixing details for the doors, windows, mouldings
etc.
17. WEBWORLD
EXPRESS-I
It’s a commercial outlet for the client M/S Reliance Infocom at Geetanjali
Complex, Bhubaneswar, in the state of Orissa, India. It deals with sales and cc outlet to cater to the need of
Reliance India Mobile Costumers. I
went for Site Visits for site measurements regarding measured
drawings, signage detailing, rolling shutters and security concerns.
18. WEBWORLD
EXPRESS-II
It’s a
commercial outlet for the client M/S Reliance Infocom at Sailashree
Vihar, Bhubaneswar,
in the state of Orissa, India. It deals with sales and cc outlet to
cater to the need of Reliance India Mobile Costumers. I went for Site Visits for
site measurements regarding measured drawings,air-conditioning details and site leveling.
19. WEBWORLD
EXPRESS-III
It’s a commercial outlet for the client M/S Reliance Infocom at Dargha
Bazaar, Cuttack, in the state of Orissa,
India. It deals with sales and cc outlet to
cater to the need of Reliance India Mobile Costumers. I went for Site Visits for details on flooring, release of agreement
drawings and other related issues.
20. WEBWORLD
EXPRESS-IV
It’s a commercial outlet for the client M/S Reliance Infocom at Mahanadi
Vihar, Cuttack, in the state of Orissa,India. It deals with sales and cc outlet to
cater to the need of Reliance India Mobile Costumers. I went for Site Visits during
the discussions of the bill of
quantities (BOQ) and the quality of
the work.
