DirectApps Internship -- Martis Extract Project
This project required that I become familiar with a project DirectApps had been working on for quite some time called Martis Navajo D.I.N.E.S, which stands for Data Information Network Electronic System. The system is an applicant tracking system designed to help the Navajo with an applicant's employment status, educational standing, program enrollment, and activity participation, among other things. My task was to run a report called the 'WIA Extract' to find bugs in the output. The report keeps a tally of certain information submitted to other agencies. The word document below outlines the bugs found and fixed and the details of other issues that arose while navigating the code and pages for this report. The excel spreadsheet displays the data at certain instances of testing, marks oddities with the code, and points out troublespots to be further investigated.
