Sixteen years old Dawn rushed excitedly to her best friend Elaine's class for lunch. She could hardly wait to talk about some of the things that were going on. When Dawn reached Elaine's class Elaine was already eating lunch.
"Guess what" she exclaimed as soon as Dawn sat down.

"What?" Dawn said as she tried to contain her own news.
"Dion Martin asked me out"
"Dion Martin?" Dawn asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, isn't it cool?
"You mean Dion Martin who just broke up with Sandra Thompson?
"Uh hmmm"
Dion Martin who told all the boys that Sandra was an easy score, that Dion Martin?"
"Oh, come on Dawn, Elaine muttered defensively, we don't know if that's true and we all know Sandra."
"Yes we know Sandra but we also know Dion, girlfriend why would you want to go out with him?
"He's the captain of the basketball team, he's popular, he's handsome and he likes me, out of all the girls he really likes me… need I go on? Anyway I'm sure he's not as bad as they say he is.
" Lainie, even if he's not as bad a people say you're still leaving out the most important part" Dawn replied. Didn't we see him smoking a cigarette last week? And does he even go to church?
"Dawn I thought you would be happy for me!" Elaine said fiercely. "Dion is the first guy that has asked me out for a long time. Why can't you be happy for me?"
It's not that I'm not happy for you Lainie, well truthfully I'm not. However, it's only because I think you can do a whole lot better than Dion. I really don't think you should go out with him.
"You know what Dawn, Elaine said angrily. I really don't care what you think. I think I'll have my lunch with Linda today. I don't want to talk to you anymore."

Will Elaine go out with Dion?
