Temper Temper

Once there was a girl who had a very bad temper. Her mother gave her, her favorite dress and told her every time she lost here temper, cut a hole in the dress. The first day the young lady had cut 37 holes in her mother's dress.

Gradually, as she learned to control her anger, the number of holes cut daily, decreased
Finally the day came when the girl didn't lose her temper at all. She told her mother about it and the mother suggested that the girl now sew up one hole for each day that she was able to hold her temper.

The days passed and the young lady was finally able to show her mother that all the holes were gone.

The mother took her daughter by the hand and said to her, "you have done well my daughter, but look at the patches on the dress. "Would you want to wear it? The dress will never be the same.
When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a person and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. A verbal wound is just as bad as a physical one."
