Many of you ladies have probably studied cancellation in school. But there is another kind of cancellation that can be used by all ages. For example two girls were on the phone, speaking of another girl.

"She's dumb in school," said one."

"But she studies hard," said the other.

"She is so unfashionable," said the first.

"Yes but she's always neat and tidy," answered the second.

Hence every unkind word spoken by the first girl was cancelled by the second. Suppose next time you hear an unkind word you cancel it by putting a kind one in its place.
