Kirby, Your exhibit on the El Paseo contributes to the downtown scenery. I Enjoyed "Tower Hall Just Before Sunset" because I watch the dwindling views of that structure. Also "The Jose" is very engaging with a good contrast Between the marquis message and the lattice of sycamore leaves. Very rich. Thanks,
Dear
Kirby,
I
saw your exhibit "Images of San Jose" last week as I walked by and
really enjoyed your work. Do you have a website
with
your art on it? I noticed they were mixed media and wondered how you created
them. Two pictures struck me, both the Art
Museum
and Johnny Rockets. Are they for sale or do you have prints available?
Thank
you.
Hi Kirby, As a former resident of downtown SJ, it has been really neat to see all those paintings appear one by one, beginning with the ones first displayed in the former Casa Castille space. Your style shows liveliness combined with precision that I find engaging, and I would love to have one in my home, and another for a gift to a fellow afficionado of dwntn SJ. Two paintings I would like to consider for purchase( I forgot the exact titles): 1. All the News on First Street2. Cafe Matisse Could you let me know the prices for these, and hopefully they will be within range of my budget, student though I have become... Thanks so much,
Hi Kirby, I have seen your works on display in downtown San Jose.Your a very talented artist.Your paintings capture the true spirit of San Jose.Beautiful!!!!!! Hi Kirby: I had recently seen a painting of The Tech Museum with a section of the Fairmont hotel, in the display by the Rep Theater. It is not there now, but was possibly interested in purchasing it as a gift for wondering if you still have it and if it is for sale. The Tech is the Fairmont as a thank you for something wonderful they are doing for us. We would need it by 5/14 unless it is unframed, in which case we would need it sooner. Thanks The Tech Museum
Hi Kirby Scudder.
I just want to sincerely thank you for
sharing your drawings of SJSU and downtown San Jose at the glass gallery across
from
the theater downtown. I work at
SJSU now and was a secondary art teacher. It is a pleasure to
walk by each day and enjoy your
pieces. I am so glad that San
Jose makes space for local artists to show their work.
