Super Mario Sunshine
Story- Mario, Peach, and Toadsworth decided to take a break from the Mushroom Kingdom, and vacation on the tropical paradise, Isle Delfino. There seemed to have been trouble while landing, so Mario goes and sees what's going on. He comes across F.L.U.D.D. (Flash Liquidizing Ultra Dousing Device) and instantly become friends. When Mario goes back to the plane, he gets arrested for "gooping up" Isle Delfino. As Mario was as confused as you could imagine, our poor plumber was sentenced to clean up the entire island before he could leave. Now, it's your job to clean up the mess, as well as find out who's behind all this!

Graphics
- One of the better parts about Super Mario Sunshine, from it's older brother, Super Mario 64, was that its graphics were so amazing. This was the only game created by Nintendo that had water that looked real! You could see reflections in it, the way it sparkled, it looked transparent...... plus, the game had lighting effects-as you gradually collect Shine Sprites, it would become brighter. The levels in this game look amazingly colorful too. Lots of greens, different colored goop, wide variety of Pinta nad Noki combinations, it's just great! This game's best part I would say it the graphics! It looks like Nintendo is trying to impress Rare, heh heh. I'll give the graphics a 9/10

Interactivity- I think interactivity in this game sorta played a small part. There wan't many things you could do, like see what Mario has to say about things (like in LUigi's Mansion, Luigi talked about everything). In SMS, you can squirt the PIntas and NOkis and make them move a weird way, or make them say something different... I don't know, but it seems as if you can't really do much except collect sprites. Although riding Yoshi is pretty cool.
Interactivity gets a
4/10

Gameplay- Now the game play in Super Mario Sunshine was a great success! It reminds you of the all-time favorite for the N64, Super Mario 64, but this time, on an island in full color and graphics, etc. YOu had to collect Shine Sprites, but in many different ways. You might've had to use Yoshi to get a sprite, ride a roller coaster, dive underwater for stuff, and more! YOu get to travel in extraordinary levels, such as an amusement park, a beach, and a four-star hotel. If you liked Super Mario 64, and you want to try playing a "newer" version of it, then I suggest playing Super Mario Sunshine.
Great game play- a
8/10

Controls- TLike any game, learning the controls is pretty hard, especially6 when you have a game where the chyaracter has a hundred moves! That's right! Mario with 100 moves! You might think I'm crazy, but with all the combos we've done, plus the moves of Yoshi himself, there are about 100 moves you can pull off in this game. The more you practice, the better you get, and the more moves you can do to impress your friends. Not only Mario and Yoshi have thier moves, but F.L.U.D.D. has a pile of moves too! You can do a few tricks with a Turbo Nozzle, the Rocket Nozzle, and the Squirt Nozzle. I tell you, there are plenty of moves for you to be pulling off to last you a few days. Nintendo sure does like to give us lots of moves and combos to make Mario do! Sorta like Super Smash Bros. Melee! Controls deserve a 10/10.

FINAL JUDGEMENT- Overall, Super Mario Sunshine is a must-have. Not only does it have the famous plumber in it, but it has awesome graphics that sort of remind you of ?Rare. They have the same game setup as Super Mario 64, which is great, plus, they offer tons of moves for Mario and all his gadgets. This game makes you feel as if you were vacationing on that lovely tropical paradise anytime you turn on the game. Nintendo and Mr. Miyamoto produced one of the greatest Gamecube games so far, and we hope to see more work like this!
nsbp; Mario, your vacation earned you a
9/10 for an overall grade! You should take vacations more often!
