December 4, 2001:
Wow! I've been neglecting Thinking Aloud. I'm in the excruciatingly tedious process of adding new poems to Poetry, which I reformatted to be more convenient to navigate. I created seperate pages-Originals, written by myself; Johnathan; and Other, which links to a wide variety of poets. Battle Of The Bands links to official web sites. I'd love to add pictures, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I will, though-I promise! No one has signed my guestbook for a long time. I love reading new entries, so please let me know what you think! Johnathan will be home for Christmas!:) I can't wait! I've never been as excited for Christmas as I am this year.
December 18, 2001:
Well, Christmas is fast approaching, and there are only seven shopping days left! My last day of school is on Friday! I can't wait until Christmas Vacation! No school for 11 days! I'm almost finished with my Christmas shopping, and I couldn't be happier because it's absolute torture finding the perfect gift for each person on my list. I feel like I should be proud of myself because this Christmas (thanks to working part-time at Burger King) I bought the perfect gifts myself. I feel like I accomplished something, and each person's gift comes from my heart. Johnathan comes home in four days! I can't wait to see him, even though he broke up with me, because we returned to friends. Sure, it hurts, and it's something I have to deal with, but time heals all wounds, and I know, in my heart of hearts, that we're best as friends. I'm buying a disposable camera and taking pictures while he's home because I don't have one picture of the two of us. Besides, I want to add new pictures to Me. I haven't updated in a long time, so I want to get back to work ASAP. Check out Poetry because I finally added Johnathan's latest, and, since John Donne has become my favorite poet of the moment, I want to add a few of his poems, too. Thanks for checking out my site, but I haven't read a new guestbook entry in a long time.:( C'mon, guys! Talk to me!
