| Shiro is from the Side 2 space colonies and is inspired to seek revenge on the Zeons when he witnesses their massacre first hand. So, taking charge of the 08th MS Team for the Federation he sees this as his ultimate revenge. Though, his heart hates war and does not see killing as a solution to his problems. His revenge is fighting- his goal is peace. Very odd, in my opinion, but the main reason for not totally despising Zeon is because of his relationship with the sister of the head of mobile suit production. |

| Karen is very serious most of the time- she often grieves for her dead husband- and works to keep her mind off him. She's very dedicated to the team. She's intelligent, strategic, strong--everything a typical real woman would be in Anime {except she doesn't go for miniskirts--this is a GOOD thing ^-^}. And since her husband was a renouned surgeon- she's also got a knowledge of medicine. |
| A typical big guy that's seems rough and stupid--but in fact is "half-way" intelligent and soft-hearted. So, if you get in Sander's way- he may or may not stomp on you! ^-^ I didn't really like Sander's character in the begining- but, he got better. In my opinion, Karen and him should have ended up together. ~-^ |
