Tans were the first breed to work their way into Caerbannog Rabbitry, and still occupy the majority of the cage space here. We have fallen in love with their striking markings, easy genetics, simple grooming, outgoing character, and the special spark a Tan displays on the table.
Janie Babcock gave us our start in Tans with one buck named Midnight, and later two does, named Fay and Trinity. Not long after that, Terri Griffin got us started with two Chocolates. Karen Witchman and Denise Moore have both helped us with our Lilac lines. Joe Kim allowed us to add several wonderful rabbits to our Black lines, which also improved our blues. Thanks to these wonderful breeders we are able to produce quality Tans in all four colors, and we are well on our way to establishing ourselves among the top breeders in the nation.
