Locke is typically a pleasant person to be around. He usually offers a smile and nod to passers-by. Waits for the ladies to be seated before sitting himself. Loves his mother. By all accounts, Locke comes off as a kind and humble man..

Jacob can perform other feats, such as 'emotion transfer', where he can remove the emotions attached to an event or action from one person by absorbing them into himself. These feats are fifty-fifty at best, and can cause physical damage to his brain. His powers tend to work better on humans and animals, and can be nearly ineffective on metas with strong mental abilities.

History: 
The bastard child of Tajza Archer and James Maxton, Tobias never knew his father. He was raised by his mother until he was five, and then given to a close friend to care for. Though abandoned, Tobias harbors no ill feelings towards the mother who tries. His father, however.. Tobias awaits the day he finds out who he is, and then will take delight in ending his father's life.

Despite living in a very unorthodox family, Jacob enjoyed a fairly normal childhood. Although he was only marginally older than his 'cousins', Angel and Adrian, his parents made a point of telling him it would be his job to stick up for them, and this became even more true after the birth of his half-sister Nathalie.

Powers coming into play at an early age, the young man left his home in New York in attempts to tracking down his real father, thus leading him to Washington, DC. Here, he established a way to help business leaders embezzle their own company's money, as well as making a name for himself as a very prestige mind in the knowledge of torture.
