Galen has a heart of gold, and always assumes the best of people.
His father, a disgruntled hippie, had the family name changed to "Strife" to reflect the struggles the next generation would encounter. Galen's true last name is Thomais, but he doesn't know it. His middle name is Dryden, but he chooses to forget it.
He runs a clinic with Dr. Anne Baer (open for play) which caters primarily to low income and mutant paitients.
He preferrs to go by "Dr. Galen". In his words: "Dr. G makes me sound like a rapper, Dr.S looks like the plural of 'doctor' on paper, and Dr. Strife makes me sound like a lame comic book villan."
