Proposal for the Community Service Assignment

During the school year 2004-2005 we will perform 4 community service projects; one each quarter. We will visit the same place each time. In this way we can:

	Get to know that place
	Make it a better place and in that case we will can be able to improve people’s lives
	Know that our lives aren’t that bad

Location: Ekamai.

Need: People can’t choose how they will be living when they are born. Some unfortunate people didn’t have a great chance like what we’re having right now, being able to have the right education, having the loves of our parents, receiving money when we are in needs of it. While they, some of them are being hurt by their only parents, or divorced, ect. Community Service is one of the ways to get to make their lives a better living place.

Action: We’ve decided to gain some money, buy some toys and candies for them. We’ve thought some plans that since they don’t have a good life like what we are having right now, why we don’t try to make their lives better and more fun. We’ve decided to also teach some Basic English so that they would be able to use it in their future. We don’t really want to rush their English that much since we’ve got to visit them for 4 times, so we think that we do have enough time to get to know the place and improve their places to be more likely to live.

    Budget: We will need for our first community service project the sum of about 2000   Bath

We hope this community service could help make some of the lives that got no chances at all to have a better life and we also need the help and the support of the teachers and the support of the school as well.
