2007 Fantasy Football League Rules
Commissioner, Kip Wesner
Draft Day, Kip's House - Tuesday, August 28, 2007, 7:00 pm
We have 12 owners and the cost is $ 15.00 per player, payable on Draft Night - Commissioner Kip Wesner will pay $ 10.00.
ROSTER: Each player will have a 16 player roster. Rosters include:
1 Quarterback
2 Running Backs
2 Wide Receivers
2 Tight Ends
3 Miscellaneous skilled player (QB, RB, WR)
2 Kickers
2 Defensive/Special Teams (Chiefs, Eagles, Bears, 49ers, etc.)
1 Individual Defensive Player #
1 NFL Team to Win*
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 Sleeper Pick after the 16 rounds are completed
New for 2007 one of your SLEEPER picks is an IDP IIndividual Defense Player)
(see more information on Sleeper Pick in the transaction section).

# You draft an individual defensive player. He scores points by making tackles, sacks, safety, forcing fumbles, recovering fumbles, interceptions and touchdowns - see scoring below. You can change your defensive player during any and/or all transaction weeks there is no limit and it does not cost you a transaction or any cash. Players that you cut can be picked up by other owners during the next transaction period. I want this to be FUN!

* Draft an NFL team that you think will do well this season. When that team wins NFL games you get points. You get 3 points for a win and 5 points if the NFL team you draft wins by 10+ points. You are allowed to change your team ONE time and only ONE time throughout the season, because of bye or poor performance. This transaction does not cost anything and does not count as one of your player transactions. However, if and when you change teams, the team you cut is BURNT for you and any other owner for the rest of the season.

STARTING LINE-UP: Each player will select starters each week (or just let me know when you make changes to your starters). You will start ten players (including defensive team and NFL team to win) each week: Line-ups are due by midnight Saturday or game time on Thursday or Saturday games.

1 Quarterback **
1-2 Running Backs
1-3 Wide Receivers
1-2 Tight End
1 Place Kicker
1 Defensive/Special Teams (Chiefs, Eagles, Bears, 49ers, etc.)
1 Individual Defensive Player # - see above
1 NFL team to win * - see above

**Quarterback wildcard - Two times during the season (One time within division, one time outside division) you may start a second quarterback in place of a running back or wide receiver.

SCHEDULE: There will be three divisions of 4 players each. With 12 players, a 14 game season would allow each player to play everyone in his division twice (home and away) and everyone in the other divisions once. Season record will be recorded for tournament seeding and prize pay-outs. Special Note: WITHIN DIVISION PLAY ONLY; the home team will be awarded a 1/2-point home field advantage. The second or last team listed on the schedule is the home team. You will play each team within your division twice (Home and Away). INTER-DIVISIONAL GAMES WILL BE PLAYED ON NEUTRAL SITE. No home field advantage points will be awarded.
TRANSATIONS:
Transaction Money spent throughout season will be pooled toward NFL playoff lottery. All 12 players will select a starting line-up from the 12 NFL play-off teams. Scoring will be calculated throughout play-offs. Fantasy owner with most points after Super Bowl wins 70% of pot, runner-up to receive 20% and 10% third place, or however I see fit, (if pot is $5 or more). Scoring for this lottery is the same as fantasy season.

REPLACING INJURED AND NON-PRODUCTIVE PLAYERS - After week #2 transactions may be made after any and every even numbered weeks. A lottery may be held if more than one owner wishes to (and calls or e-mail before Tuesday midnight). You can replace an injured player on Wednesday and non-productive players can be replaced on Thursday. A lottery will apply for non-productive players weighed toward the standing in your division. NOTE: You pay after you complete your replacement to insure you get a player you wish to obtain. Friday and Saturday replacements are first come, first served.

INJURED RESERVE - You can have a maximum of two players on injured reserve at any given time. Players MUST be listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL on NFL injury report. Once injured player accumulates statistics decision must be made on which player to keep. All injury replacements must be the same position as injured player.
*SEE BLOW NEW NOTE FOR 2006 ABOUT INJURED RESERVE

Injury Example: Wednesday injury draft (if you call by Tuesday).
FIRST CONSIDERATION - A starter was lost from the previous week and/or any starter who has started 50% of your games. (if more than one owner claiming a player from the same position - then a lottery)
3rd place ... gets first consideration, then  2nd place and then 1st place

SECOND CONSIDERATION - Any injured player on your roster (remember injury replacements are by position). (if more than one owner claiming a player from the same position - then a lottery)
3rd place ... gets first consideration, then  2nd place and then 1st place

Replacement Example: (Thursday please notify me by Tuesday if you wish to replace a player with add/drop)
3rd place (3 Balls)
2nd place (2 Balls)
1st place (1 Ball)

The lottery is to replace non-productive position players with free agent position players (NOT Kickers, D/S). . Replaced players that are cut can be picked up by other owners during the next transaction period. You may cut and replace players from different positions except kickers and defense/special teams. Example, you may cut a quarterback and replace him on your roster with a receiver, however if you cut a kicker you must replace that spot with a kicker.

First injury replacement FREE
Second and Third $1
Fourth and Fifth (Final) $2

NOTE: If a player on your team is suspended by the NFL or his NFL team, then that player may be put on IR for a cost of $1 regardless of how many transactions you have already made. If this happens it will not count in the above increase in cost per injury transactions.

Replacing non-productive players - See add/drop lottery from above.
First cut and replacement - $2
Second and Third and Fourth - $2
Fifth through Tenth $3

NOTE:  If a player on your team is cut from his NFL roster you may cut that player for a $1 fee regardless of how many transaction you have already made. If this happens it will not count in the above increase in cost per transaction.

SLEEPER PLAYER and PICK: After the 16th round you will have a complete roster. At that point we will all pick one more player ... your Sleeper Pick. The draft order for this round was determined by how well you did at picking the play-off teams last season. Your pick can be for any one of the six position players, however his position on your team will be the same as his position on his NFL team. Any time after the draft and before
Week #3 you may activate your sleeper player by cutting a player from your roster of the same position. You will then keep your sleeper player and lose the player that you cut.
New for 2007 - One SLEEPER will be an offensive player and one will be an IDP. The IDP will have the same Sleeper activation rule as above.
Also NEW for 2006 ... in the past once your IR player accumulated stats you had to decide which to keep NOW you can keep your replacement and the returned injured player for a flat rate of $1.50 transaction fee.
