Difficult to believe that we are starting our 12th season in the OFF (Original Fantasy Football League).We still have six of the eight Charter Members ... Kip, Eric, Loren, Matt, Steve, Tim!
Loren became the first three time champion last season. This year we are starting from scratch ... new divisions and no one will be protected. We are also moving to ESPN, so that should be less work for the commissioner - YEA!
The eighth BTND season is underway and the draft is complete. All the 2007 players returned for this season. Andy captured the championship crown last time, but can he hold one to it? Only the two division champions will play for the 2008 title during the bowl weeks.
Salary Cap Fantasy Football remains on my Fantasy Football schedule after a strong 2007 season. BJ edged Ken for last year's title. We have 13 of 14 returning, but the question is can we get veteran Doug or defending 2005 champion to take Hogan's place this time.
The Survivor League has been eliminated.
NEW for 2008 is SPT (Survivor, Points, Tourney FF League). This is mainly a points league, but has survivor aspect and season ending tournamament to keep things interesting ... only 13 players here.
Pick Your Team Fantasy Football League was a huge success in 2006, but I do not have time to run it in 2007 or now in 2008. Sorry for all of those who enjoyed the PYT league. I expect it to return some day just not this year!
One year wonder ... BTE (Big Ten elimination league). This league has a good chance to return, but not in 2008!
