TRANSACTIONS: Replacing injured or non-productive player is totally FREE and can be done each week. The selection order will be determined every Saturday night ... worst to first. The bottom four players can make selections on Sunday or Monday in order of course. The top four players can make transactions on Tuesday and Wednesday in the pre-determined order. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED ON THURSDAY and FRIDAY. Your line-up must be turned in my 11 p.m. Friday night, unless there is a Thursday night game. We will have a transaction period after the draft and before the regular season. The order is reverse SLEEPER order.

*Note: Three things must be understood. 1.) You can only pick-up a player who plays the same position as the player you cut. 2.) If a position player is cut he can NOT picked up by another player until the next week. For instance if I am in last place and I cut Notre Dame's quarterback on Monday because the Irish have an open date, then a person in first or second place can NOT pick up that player on Tuesday or Wednesday of that week. (Exception: If a kicking team or defense/special team is cut by a player they may be picked up by another player ONLY if there are none available). If a position player is cut he automatically goes into next week's pool of free agents. 3.) And finally, you can only make ONE transaction per week.
NOTE: Only Notre Dame has a BYE week this season. It is during week #9, October 27th.
This is a COLLEGE league ... there are NO trades. You make your team through the draft or through the above add/drop process.
If a BTND player plays on both sides of the ball, his defensive TDs will NOT be counted toward his offensive stats. The owner of that player's defense would be the only owner to get points for the scored TD. However, if you have a WR, RB or any offensive that plays special teams by returning kick-offs or punts, then his returned TDs will count toward his offensive score. Bottom line - defensive touchdowns scored by offensive players to NOT count ... Special Teams TDs scored by offensive players DO count.
NOTE: Blocked kicks or blocked punts count as defenses scores and NOT special teams even though it is the same BTND team. If returned for a touchdown you get the points because of your defense team not special teams. In a nut shell you only get special team TDs on kick-off or punt returns. Faked kicks for blocked kicks advanced for TD do NOT count as special team TD. They would still be consider the offensive teams points.

SLEEPER PICK - After the draft is complete each player will pick one more player (either a RB or WR), that player can be activated anytime after the draft up until Friday midnight September 21st. If he is activated then you MUST cut a player from your roster that plays the same position. THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS A TRANSACTION. You are still allowed to make your normal add/drop as scheduled. If you have not activated your SLEEPER player before September 21, then that evening you must decide to keep your drafted team as is and release your SLEEPER pick to Free Agency  -OR-  you can activate your SLEEPER player as mentioned above. Basically, you can carry a fifth position player (RB or WR) through the first two weeks of the season. If you add your SLEEPER pick to your team roster and cut a player from your drafted roster as required, then you are done with the SLEEPER until next season. The SLEEPER draft order is determined by the finish of the 2006 season (as like it was done last year) Kip, Greg, Andy, Hogan, Matt, Dave, Steve, Mike

Long Term Play-off Schedule - This season is our seventh season. This pattern will continue pretty much forever, or until I change it.
2005 (2001) - four (4) teams qualified (2009 & so on)
2006 (2002) - all eight (8) make the DOUBLE-Elimination play-offs in 2006 (2010 & so on)
2007 (2003) - six (6) teams battled for the championship (2011 & so on)
2008 (2004) - only the division winners compete for the crown (2012 & so on)

Divisions for 2008 are set. Championships Division Matt, Kip, Hogan and Steve
Participants Division Andy, Dave, Greg and Mike
                                                                                                                                                         Thank you for your commitment!
The Antaan Randle EL Rule ... It applied to Michael Robinson of Penn State in 2004. Michael Robinson of Penn State was a back-up QB however he played RB and WR as well. Here is what I do with that situation. You can draft him as an RB if you desire and collect any points that he would earn as a WR or QB (see below) during the game provided that he does not start the game as a QB. If he does not start the game as a QB, but gets snaps and stats as a QB, then you will be awarded for his first  thrown touchdown and any yardage earned. The second,  third or fourth TD thrown will not get you points for your team from Robinson the RB. If he starts at QB, you will be required to use your substitute player in his place. Finally, if he starts a game as QB, you must release him in the next week as one of your RB. He can then be picked up as a QB, until he doesn't start again as Penn State's QB. If you are required to release him ... that will not count toward your one transaction limit.
*Probably NOT necessary but I am going to keep the Antaan Randle EL RULE on the books for now ...
