| 2007 SURVIVOR Fantasy Football League | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Survivor NFL Fantasy Football League is simple! If you are not the lowest scoring team in any given week, then you advance. If your team out scores your opponent(s) during Week #16 then you are the sole survivor and champion. Here are the rules for Survivor Fantasy Football League. Number of players 16. Entry fee - $10 for the entire season. WEEK TO WEEK PLAY - During week #1 all 16 players begin and this is the only week that a player is NOT eliminated. However, there will be a team that wins immunity which is the highest score of the week. If you hold immunity, then you can not be eliminated the following week regardless of your score (you get a FREE pass). If the immunity holder happens to be the lowest score during the next week of play, then the team eliminated will be the second lowest score OR the lowest scoring team that does not have immunity. During weeks #2 through week #14 the highest score will win immunity for the following week and a weekly pay-out (see pay-out schedule below), while the lowest score or the lowest score who does not hold immunity from the previous week will be eliminated from the game. Only ONE team will win immunity, if there is a tie, then the tie will be broken by the score of your QBs first, then by your kicker, then tight end and finally defensives teams. During week #15 only three teams remain alive for the championship. There will be an immunity winner from week #14 and the lowest score will be eliminated, HOWEVER there will not be an immunity winner for the following week which would be the championship game or final week. During week #16 (the final week) only two teams remain ... NO immunity was earned from the previous week, so the low score is eliminated and the high scorer is the SOLE SURVIVOR and 2007 Survivor League champion. ROSTER - You will draft a starting line-up before the season starts ... and that is your team. After week #1 you will be given the opportunity to add ONE (1) RB or WR player to your roster. You are only allowed to change your line-up one time with that player (the substitute player you draft after week #1) throughout the season because of injury, NFL bye or lack of productive *Here is your starting line-up (11 rounds): 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 Kicker (who is NAMED) and 2 Defenses |

| SCORING - This league is based only on week to week points. You do NOT play head-to-head against another opponent. Your season point total means nothing! You just need to avoid being the lowest scorer or the lowest scorer who does not hold immunity (the highest score) from the previous week. This is not only a quarterback league (have I said that before?), but it is also a big time yardage league, so you can make up for the NFL bye weeks or those nagging injures. Offensive scoring break-down ... Passing Yards (25 yards per point) Passing Touchdowns (6) Interceptions (-2) Rushing Yards (10 yards per point) Rushing Touchdowns (6) Reception Yards (10 yards per point) Reception Touchdowns (6) Return Touchdowns (6) 2-Point Conversions (2) Fumbles Lost (-2) Offensive Fumble Return TD (6) Field Goals 0-19 Yards (3) Field Goals 20-29 Yards (3) Field Goals 30-39 Yards (3) Field Goals 40-49 Yards (4) Field Goals 50+ Yards (5) Point After Attempt Made (1) Defensive scoring break-down ... Sack (1) Interception (2) Fumble Recovery (2) Touchdown (6) Punt and Kick-off Return for TD (6) Safety (2) Block Kick (1) Points Allowed 0 points (10) Points Allowed 1-6 points (7) Points Allowed 7-13 points (4) Points Allowed 14-20 points (1) Points Allowed 21-27 points (0) Points Allowed 28-34 points (-1) Points Allowed 35+ points (-4) |

| Your substitute player (either a RB or WR) will be drafted after week #1 by the order of last season's finish. If you are new then you will pick near the bottom.. NOTE: I used to think this was a quarterback league, but not so sure anymore. Either way as you can see each of 16 players will start 2 quarterbacks - 32 NFL quarterbacks start each week. Because of this I want to protect your QBs from a season ending injury. If you have a QB that is injured and OUT for the season or placed on injured reserve which means out for the season, then your survivor fantasy team will be given that players back-up quarterback (whoever starts at QB for your injured player's team the following week, then the same rule would apply to that QB, your new QB). HOWEVER, you will not be protected from a nagging week-to-week injury or a QB who is pulled because of lack of production. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOUR STARTING QB IS REPLACED BECAUSE OF INJURY, then he can ONLY become your starting QB again if his back-up is listed as OUT on the official NFL injury report. You can not change between you starting QB and his back-up for any reason EXCEPT for being listed as OUT. Started in 2005 ... you are allowed one QB roster move. Understand that you can still replace your QB if he is listed as "OUT" but this rule allows one QB roster move you can replace your starter if your drafted QB returns to action. This can also be used if your drafted QB is benched because of poor perforamce or ahs nagging injury. Started last year you get ONE additional roster move either TE or kicker replacement. Make this move if either your kicker or TE gets hurt, benched, released or just sucks. If you choose to replace your TE after week #2 and then your kciker gets cut after week #5, then you are out of luck and roster moves. Be advised his is ONE transaction for both positions NOT one transaction for each position (NOT TEAM TIED). DRAFT - The draft will be done through the internet with e-mail. The draft order will be determined by a blind draw and you will make 11 selections. There will be 186 players drafted for this league. So you will need to be able to go very deep into NFL rosters to make your selections. We have done this draft now for four years ... it is going to be the same this year. Please look at it as FUN and not why is it taking so long! I am going to start the draft on August 1st, so we have nearly 40 days to select 186 players that is less than five (5) picks a day. You can submit a list when it gets close to your pick. If 24 hours passes and I have not heard from you, then the yahoo default list will be used! Thanks! |

| PAY-OUTS - $10 x 16 players = $160 (immunity holder weeks 1-15) $4 x 15 weeks = $60 NFL Survivor Winner - $60 NFL Survivor Runner-up - $20 Third place - $8 Fourth place - $7 *New for 2007 - $5 (misc. prize) |

| *NEW for 2007 ... I want to extent the game to some degree for the first two players eliminated. The low scorer of Week #1 is NOT eliminated (nor have they ever been eliminated), but now that player can win the misc $5 prize. The lowest scorers during the first three weeks will compete head-to-head-to-head during week #4. The high scorer of that week will win the $5 misc. prize. Now instead of having two weeks guaranteed, now you have something to play for during the first four weeks (25% of the season). So if you are the 1st or 2nd player "out" you can win back 1/2 of your entry fee $5 during week #4 ... you are welcome! | ||||||||||||||||||||
| TIE-BREAKER RULE! | ||||||||||||||||||||
| HERE IS SOME GOOD NEWS ... after the draft is completed and everyone has there starting line-up you can freely change your roster however you see fit until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5th the night of the first NFL game. Example if you draft Deuce McAllister and he gets injuried in the preseason after you have already drafted him, then you will be able to cut him and add another RB after the draft and before the season starts. Now you most likely will not get Reggie Bush because he will be on another roster, but you can pick-up a healthy player before the season starts. Because there are SO many QB question marks each year and becasue we start this draft so early, I am allowing BOTH of your QB selections to be a TEAM QB selection. This will help you if the projected start doesn't appear to be on schedule, but then DOES start game #1 or if the projected starters has a very capable back-up and gets injured before the season. On Labor Day you must declare your starting QBs. They do not have to start the NFL season as was required required in the past ... this is the BIG BEN rule! Big Dan knows what I mean ... right? The after week #1 roster addition player (either a RB or WR) will be drafted based on last season finish, if you are new you will be picking near the bottom. After week #1 all 16 players are still alive each owner will add one player to his roster as a substitute player. You are allowed to make ONE (1) change to your line-up during the season your added player (RB or WR). You can put your new player directly into the starting line-up or you can add him as a Sub to add to your line-up later in the year because of a NFL bye week, injury or poor performance. Last possible move - if you have added your substitute RB or WR to your line-up and one of your five position players is placed on the NFL IR then you can make one final transaction ... pick a player for the same NFL team that plays the same position as your injured player, however here is the catch you only get 1/2 of his FANTASY points. And you are only allowed to make this type of move a minimum of one week after adding your substitute player to your line-up. |

| There is NO tie for immunity. Only ONE team will win immunity each week (although the weekly prize will be split evenly), if there is a tie score, then it will be broken by the score of the QBs first, then by your kicker, then TE and finally your defensives teams. This is only to win immunity ... not a title! In case of a tie for the championship (Week 16), the tie will be broken during Week #17. If there is still a tie the co-champions will split the prize money equally. Tehre is no QBs ect. tie-breaker here. In case of a tie between two or more players for the lowest score, then they will be able to break their tie the following week. The lowest score of the tie breaker players is eliminated first then the low score of all other remaining players is eliminated. The tie breaker players are not eligible for immunity or weekly pay-outs (this decision is made because my other option is to eliminate all low tie score players from the previous week) during their tie-breaker week. Also, those players breaking their tie will not be able to change their line-up during the tie-breaker week for any reason to help break the tie. NOTE: I, the commissioner, was eliminated from the game in 2005 because I could NOT change my line-up after tying for last place in scoring one week. |
