Some characters just need to be hated, 'cause they deserve it. Or at least disliked. Hey, I even like some characters that deserve to be hated. But, dammit, what's with all these fangirls (I'm a fangirl too, mind you, just not the typical type) who absolutely hate innocent characters 'cause they get in the way of one of their favorite couples?
Innocent characters. Innocent! For one, let's take Sakuno from Prince of Tennis. She's nice. She's cute. And she doesn't do anything in the least bit evil. At least not yet, it's just not her. People will say how much they wanna see her suffer a painful death. Now, again, don't get me wrong, I'm not really a fan of the Ryoma/Sakuno pairing--in fact, I'm a hopeless Momo/Ryoma obsessive--but, buut. I really don't think Sakuno's done anything to deserve hate from so many people. I'm quite appaled.
Okay, truth be told, I didn't originally intend to ramble about poor Sakuno, my main goal was to try figuring out why people dislike Dan Taichi. You know, the Yamabuki kid. Do people find him annoying? I'm sure some do. Or is it that he gets in the way of Sengoku and Akutsu being paired up together? Or both? What? Someone enlighten me.
I find that I'm probably one of Taichi's biggest fans, and possibly one of the only English-speaking Akutsu/Taichi fangirls. Is it just me, or is Taichi the only one not bloody afraid of Akutsu (Yamabuki-wise)? Is it just me, or is Taichi one of the only people Akutsu doesn't dislike? Now, maybe it's just me, but Taichi friggin deserves Akutsu. He has the cutest of crushes on Akutsu, and I know that isn't just me, because if I was the only one who saw that, not as many people would dislike Taichi.
Okay, now, have I missed something? I honestly don't see where people get the Akutsu/Sengoku pairing from. There're so many other people who work with Sengoku. And sure as bloody hell, I don't see how Akutsu could possibly stand someone like Sengoku. (I honestly love Sengoku, just not paired with Akutsu) Yet somehow, Akutsu can clearly stand Taichi, or he would've broken the boy's neck. And, if he didn't like him, he wouldn't've told Taichi to aim at playing Tennis and all that stuff.
Seriously. No, no. Seriously. I think I've cooled down now. And nothing against anyone who likes Sengoku paired with Akutsu. I just don't see it. And I try. Because, you'll find, I can see a wide array of couples.
Really, I should've probably saved this for the couples section, so you'll probably hear it again there.
