You stand up to refill your goblet, when a sudden 'thump' startles you! Looking over in the direction of the noise, you notice a thick tome has fallen from the bookshelf and lies open on the floor. Curious, you pick it up and settle down again to read through it. But you quickly realize it is no ordinary book! The pages are blank!
Confused, you flip through it, then you feel it begin to tingle with a faint warmth. You stare in amazement as you watch a picture slowly come to life on a page! A face forms - it is Kip!
"Greetings, my friend." she smiles at you. "Come on a journey through my 'Book of Life'. Here you can journey back into the past and see for yourself the adventures of mine and my friends. - Prince Kyriell was leading a small force North, of which Barcos was a part of. But the prince was unknowingly betrayed but his Uncle, Earl Walter, and his party was attacked by a large pack of hellhounds. So began the 'Kingship Wars'!
- It's now 22 years since the end of the Kingship Wars. Kip, Barcos, Mykol and the 15 year old Prince Rhian have just returned from the north after visiting King Kyriell. Along the way, they have learned an army of dark knights is marching on Tintagel. Kip sends her friends on to the Castle, while she departs for Rothdell to enlist the aid of Tor and her brother, Casca. Thus begins the events that lead to her capture.
