***Last year, The FRIENDS OF NRA made a significant grant to buy equipment for Kinney 4-H Shooting Sports. Since that time BADER EQUIPMENT COMPANY, assisted by a grant from the TEXAS 4-H SHOOTING SPORTS FOUNDATION has made significant improvements to our range. Together, these generous contrabutions to our program have allowed us to expand our program to include a smallbore rifle silhouette program and we will be introducing a high power sporting rifle program later in the shooting year. Please extend your thanks to those who have helped us achieve these goals.***
*The potential of Kinney 4-H Shooting Sports is only limited by coaches and equipment. We have many youth signed up for our program this year, but some of our active coaches have moved away. Many of our youth are excited about our expanding program, which now includes silhouettes, air pistol and high power. Resources have been made available to make those dreams come true, however the biggest limiting factor continues to be dedicated leaders who will commit their time. If you can dedicate some of your time as a range officer or coach, please contact the Extension Office or e-mail us for information on how you can receive training and become part of this very rewarding program.
