Jaguar
Who says that cats don't like to get wet? South America's mighty jaguar is one feline who is majorly into water sports. Not only is this powerful mammal a super swimmer, he's good at fishing, too. He uses his paws to flip fish out of the river, and also preys on small alligators, turtles and caymans.
You might say the jaguar is the "strong and silent" type. He's got the second strongest jaw of any land mammal, able to crush even the hardest of turtle shells. And he's not exactly silent, but he doesn't roar like a lion. Snarling and growling are more his style.
People often get the jaguar mixed up with the leopard, but this cat is much stockier, with a larger head and shorter tail. Although they both have similar patterns on their fur, a jaguar's spots are actually black rings with dots inside. They're called rosettes--but they probably don't smell as sweet!
