Henshi Phrase: Serpent Knight Transform! A dark blue circle appears around Dereith. Dozens of black serpents come out of the circle and slither up and around Dereith. There is a flash of darkness and the snakes are gone, except for a large black one, and Dereith is in his uniform.

Powers:
Serpent's Trance= Dereith says "Serpent's Trance" he is able to either make the person he said this to hurt themselves or fall asleep, which ever he chooses
Serpent Deadly Crush= When Dereith says this, the snake that stayed behind after his transformation grows about 7x the size of an it's regular form (the serpent in it's original form in very large, almost as big as a python). It slithers up to his enemy and wraps around them, choking them

Appearance: Dereith has black wavy hair a little past his shoulders, and icy blue eyes. He stands about 6'3" and is very muscular. He has quite a few scars from his training also.

Uniform Description: Dereith has dark green armor with peridots impressed into the form of a triton on the left side of his armor on the chest. He has a black cape with black boots that go up past his knees. He also has a broad, double-sided, black sword.

Personality: Dereith is a very imitating person (or at least he himself thinks he is). He usually takes orders, as long as they are from Galaxia herself. He has no emotions for anybody or anything. Over those less superior than him, he treats them harshly and is more or less tyrant. Dereith is cold, uncaring, and ruthless. To most people he appears to be unfeeling to everybody. But the few people he becomes close to knows that he does house some emotions. Can also be rather sarcastic. He becomes violent if reminded of his father somehow.

History: Dereith grew up on the planet Mermaid. He was the only son to the Duchess of Selith, Thera, and the Duke of Selith, Tarkin (who was the brother of Allora's father). Thera died during childbirth so Dereith never really got to know her. When Dereith was little he was taught archery, and swordsmanship by his father. He was always punished for the littlest things and grew to hate his father for that. Tarkin always considered Allora's father to be weak and not fit to rule Mermaid and taught his son to always be ruthless, and rule with an iron fist. When Dereith was 17 Tarkin planned for the King and Queen to be assassinated. His plan was successful, but still to this day no one but Dereith knows how they were murdered. Tarkin was to ascended the throne after their deaths, but Dereith challenged him to a battle, whoever won the battle was to become the next king. Dereith easily beat Tarkin and banished him to ! the planet Chuu. Dereith then sent his little cousin, Allora, who was supposed to be the next ruler of Mermaid, to a small island where he forbade her to leave because he feared that if she grew to have the people of Mermaid's help, which she could easily get, that she would over throw him as king. Dereith later joined Galaxia after she offered him more power if he joined her, he quickly agreed to join.

Special Note: Dereith's mother was from Kinmoku, so Dereith doesn't change into a merperson when he is in water, but he can stay underwater for almost 1/2 hour without going up to the surface for air.
