| Melding |
| After the trump suit is named, players reveal any melds they have by playing them face-up. A meld is any of the following card combinations, which have point values as shown: |

| The scores for single, double, triple, and quadruple melds are for one, two, three, and four of the same meld, respectively. For example, two Aces of each suit would be a double meld of Aces around, worth 100 points (note that there is no such meld as Tens around). A card may be part of more than one meld at the same time, with one exception: A King or Queen of trumps may not count as part of both a royal marriage and a run. |
