1. HTDs are a link between Admin, the TDs the Kinksters and the league so we expect when you are here and available they know it by you being visible on messenger in case there is a concern, question, complaint or request. 2. Without tourneys there is no league, we need to share this burden and set an example to our TD�s by running some of our own, we expect a minimum of 5 tourneys a week from our HTDs. They can be done one a day or all on the same day, whatever suits your schedule, but if every HTD is running at least 5 somewhere in the week staff will be very visible. 3. When you are running a tourney we expect THAT to be your focus, this is not the time to be fielding questions and/or complaints so when your tourney begins please change your status to something that indicates you are running a tourney and not available until it is over. But being a HTD is more than just doing those things, it�s a love for Kinky and Kinksters, it�s WANTING to be here not having to be here, it enjoying the games and the people and watching the league grow and flourish and knowing it�s doing so because you are nurturing it. It�s about being committed to making Kinky a place people can come and feel like they are home, like they are cared about, and will be valued. Being a HTD can be a thankless job, and a lot is expected of you that goes unsaid, like always being willing to set yet ANOTHER tourney if no one else is around or volunteering, or always being available and accessible to be the shoulder to lean on, or the voice of reason. It�s about biting your tongue, and smiling through gritted teeth and yet somewhere at the end of the day��..being happy you did it. To become a HTD you must have been a TD for a minimum of 30 days and have run a minimum of 20 tourneys above and beyond your 10 training tourneys. |
