On Sept 22cnd 2007 Doug (chosen12_12) and Karen (mistress_desiderata) decided to start a pino league, The name kinky was chosen so all would know this would be a league of tolerance, that ALL were welcome.

First Day of 100+ Matches

On Jan 18th we had our first day of 100+ matches, 115 to be exact !!!
On Jan 22cnd 2008 We celebrated 4 months of survival with a Fab Four Marathon. We played nothing but 4 handed games with only 4 members in each tourney for 40 buxs for 24 hours. The day was a blast, much fun was had and we managed to run an amazing 40 tourneys. Quite Fitting for Fab Four !
On Feb 17th 2008 after wondering if we would EVER see a Boston happen in the league, Steve (worshipabba2008) and Fred (jamminggears40) did us proud and pulled one off. Congrats!
Feb 25th 2008 the Kinkypino Store opened !!! Kinky gear everywhere woo hoo !!
Finally after much patience and anticipation with the joining of potomofer67 on Feb 26th, 2008 we achived 100 active members and were able to mark soc 3 as the official Kinkypino home. So exciting !!!
On March 22cnd, 2008 Kinky celebrated its 6 month anniversary, and in true yahoo fashion all yahoo game rooms shut down until 8pm throwing quite the �kink� into our plans. The plan for the day was to have 6 hand tourneys for 60 buxs with a maximum of 6 players per tourney, and only sexy games allowed !!! Anyone beating a TD got an invite to a special tourney with a maximum of 6 players, we ended up with 11 staff stompers !! In true Kinky fashion yahoo couldn�t keep us down, the mighty Kinksters managed to squeeze in 54 matches in 4 hours.
In June 2008 we decided to try something new, we changed our specials format from single elimination to double. Kinksters always looked forward to the 9 specials a month and would be very dissapointed if they ended up out in the first round because of a loppy yahoo table, so to combat this we change to a double elimination format to try and give everyone a fighting chance. Our first double elim special took 5.5 hours to complete !! We then decided to change from 6 hands to 4 and that worked much better, specials lasted an average of 3 hours. Kinsters loved the new format and we decided it was a keeper.
On June 28th, 2008 we held our first Kinky Appreciation Day. We ran a marathon of tourneys from noon to midnight, a single elimination every hour from noon to 8 that each had a 500 TD donation with a dounle elimination at 9 that had a 2000 TD donation. All tourneys were free to join, in fact Kinksters got paid 50 buxs just for joining! All day Kinksters were eligible for additional payouts, Bostons 1000 buxs, dbl run 500, dbl aces 250, dbl pinos, kings, queens, jacks and sets all worth 100 buxs each. Kinksters came and broke the bank for a whopping 23,900 buxs !!!! winniefaye680 played in every single tournament all day and won herself a Kinky Tshirt for her effort. We racked up 124 matches for the day and everyone had a blast. Kinksters Rule !!!!
In August it was announced that the leaguse would be closing Aug 31st, 2008. Kinky has become to busy for Melly and Desi to handle alone. Almost immediately the Kinksters rallied, outside help in the form of jahpepper stepped in to help, members stepped up to TD and it was agreed Kinky would stay open. We ARE family !!!!
Sept 22cnd, 2008 we turned 1 year old !!! We celebrated with a huge tourney that had a 20,000 buxs donation and everyone had a fabulous time. Also throughout the day anyone whose score ended in a �1� got a bonus 100 buxs. Over the year Kinksters played 25,731 matches of pino. Kinky stands at 307 members with 100-150 of them being active in cases 3 week window.
