1. If you are an Admin in Kinky we hope that means you are as committed to it as we are and therefore we expect you to be loyal to Kinky, which means not staffing in any other league, we understand you may want to play in other leagues and that�s fine, one can never have too many friends, but we expect your working energies will be spent on Kinky and the Kinksters. 2. Admins are the link between the Kinksters and the league so we expect when you are here and available they know it by you being visible on messenger in case they have a concern, question, complaint or request. 3. Without tourneys there is no league, we need to share this burden and set an example to our TD�s by running some of our own, we expect a minimum of 7 tourneys a week from our Admins. They can be done one a day or all on the same day, whatever suits your schedule, but if every Admin is running at least 7 somewhere in the week we will be very visible. But being an Admin is more than just doing those things, it�s a love for Kinky and Kinksters, it�s WANTING to be here not having to be here, it enjoying the games and the people and watching the league grow and flourish and knowing it�s doing so because you are nurturing it. It�s about being committed to making Kinky a place people can come and feel like they are home, like they are cared about, and will be valued. Being an Admin can be a thankless job, and a lot is expected of you that goes unsaid, like always being willing to set yet ANOTHER tourney if no one else is around or volunteering, or always being available and accessible to be the shoulder to lean on, or the voice of reason. It�s about biting your tongue, and smiling through gritted teeth and yet somewhere at the end of the day��..being happy you did it. Those of us that are already committed to making Kinky this kind of place have decided that in order for us to ensure we continue to pride ourselves on quality and not quantity have decided that all future Admins will not be given the status of Admin for 30 days after they have been asked to join us, this makes sure the future Admin has a chance to get to know what he/she is getting into and the present staff has a chance to see how the Admin fits in. After 30 days the present Admins will vote on making the candidates permanent. |
