My baby was born 3 1/2 weeks early due to my preeclampsia. I was in induced labor for 12 1/2 hours. He finally shot out into the world at 10:28pm. He was purple, but he was fine. His apgar was 7,9. He was born in Kennedy Memorial Hospital. He held his head up minutes after birth. He was fully developed and never needed to be in the NICU. He came out of the hospital at three days old weighing 4lb 4oz with a touch of jaundice. We had to go back the next day to make sure the jaundice was subsiding.
Asof February 26th, 2006 he weighs in at 38 lbs., 38 inches tall head, 18 1/2 inches around. He eats a ton. Just 2 years ago he was 22 lbs and 8 inches shorter. He was nursed and weaned himself at 12 1/2 months. Right now he is 97% potty trained. He is still high-needs and very smart. He likes to figure out how things work and how he can get what he wants or where he wants to be. I love him. He's a true joy. Thank God for him :) <3 |
