| Ministering in four prisons directly, but not exclusively. These prisons include: 1. Augusta Correctional Center for Men 2. Harrisonburg Diversion Center. 3. Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women. 4. Harrisonburg/Rockingham Regional Jail 5. Middle River Regional Jail Send bibles, bible study materials & testimonials, as well as correspondence to prisoners statewide. Kingsway is a resource for directing people to family counseling, supplies bible studies upon request, financial management counseling, and referrals for food, clothing, and drug and alcohol recovery. Offers training and resources to individuals and churches who share the gospel to prisoners and their families. Help with Easter baskets, school supplies, Christmas presents, and birthday cards to children of inmates as well as sponsoring a summer camp through Camp Overlook for them. |

| 1977 Kingsway Prison & Family Outreach founded by Shel and Louise Jennings. 1983 Kingsway incorporated as a non-profit organization. 1982 Kingsway joined the Coalition of Prison Evangelism. 1984 Kingsway moved its central office from the Jennings home to Harrisonburg. 1992 Kingsway further expanded its training services to volunteers who sought to minister in the prisons. 1993-2009 Kingsway has expanded each year reaching out to inmates their families and children. Through programs such as The Apple Tree Project, Inmate Christmas, Holiday & Birthday Card Programs, Pen-Pal Letter Program and Inside & Outside Ministry Services. |

| WORLDWIDE Ministered with the Coalition of Prison Evengelists in Romania, Scotland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, and England. NATIONALLY Ministered in Connecticut, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Texas, and of course, Virginia. LOCALLY Weekly visits to Harrisonburg Diversion Center and Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women and Augusta Correctional Center for Men. Other correctional units are visited as invited. Louise Jennings is also Women's Chaplain at Harrisonburg/Rockingham Regional Jail & Middle River Regional Jail. |
