Official Kingston Rules
No Chunks, No Glory
This is a competitive event but social drinkers are welcome. After the beer mile, please do not attempt to drive. You will be drunk.
Each competitor is responsible for himself/herself. It is illegal to drink in public and to be drunk in public. You also can spend time in jail if you drive while drunk. You are responsible for your own actions. Be smart and be responsible. This can be fun. Don't be stupid.
Each beer miler must bring their own beer, soft drink, or wine cooler. People can run and drink whatever they wish. Only beer milers drinking beers containing 5% alcohol by volume and who follow the Official Kingston Mile Rules will be eligible to be on the World Beer Mile Federation record list.
