No Joke!!  Our esteemed Fire Chief, Raymond Novitski has announced that he is retiring.  During his tenure as our leader our department has seen many advances.  From the induction of AED's on the ambulances to the purchase of not just a pumper, but, also of a ladder truck, to the ambulace service being upgraded to an ALS provider.  This last endevor also required the hiring of additional men, bringing our staffing from 17 to 22.  The largest increase in manpower for the department in 12 years.  Congratulations to Chief Novitski for a fine career!

A NEW CHIEF!!!   Congratulations to Robert Cannon on his promotion to Fire Chief.  Chief Cannon has been Deputy Chief 1 for 12 years.  He is certified by the Pennsylvania State Fire Acadamy as a Firefighter II, by the Pennsylvaina Department of Health as an Emergency Medical Technician and countless other achievements in the fire service.  He is an exceptional pro-active leader, that I'm sure will take our department to new heights in setting the standards for other fire departments to follow.
