	About the Kingston Emergency Management Agency Kingston Emergency Management Agency proudly protects 14,500 people living in an area of 1.5 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The Kingston Emergency Management Agency assists the Kingston Fire Department, Police Department, Emergency Medical Services & Department Of Public Works when a natural or man made disaster occurs or threatens the municipality. In 1951, Pennsylvania adopted the Civil Defense Program for managing war-related emergencies & relief from natural disasters. In 1978, Pennsylvania followed the organizational changes made by the federal government & changed the title from Civil Defense to Emergency Management. We operate on frequency 155.115 Mhz & our non-emergency phone number is 570-288-9030.
