| Jewell Marie Perry was born July 19, 1930 in Wayne Co., WV, to parents Ballard E. Perry and Fairbelle "Belle" Smith Perry. She married Raymond Adkins on January 7, 1949 in Catlettsburg, Boyd Co., KY. She had five children: Patti, Joyce, Anita, Sheila and Mark. On August 13, 1999, Jewell died from cancer in Rushville, Fairfield Co., Ohio. She is missed very much. |

| She hurts no more: She is not hurting anymore; her face is peaceful now, the suffering has been erased; no pain upon her brow. These tears at best are selfish tears because we miss her so. We'd clasp her still, reluctantly, so sad to see her go; but it is not the will of God that death beget these tears, Her feet now walk where angels walk, and every sound she hears reverberates with heaven's love as she kneels to adore.
