| Description: This newly discoverd bouldering area is extremly small. The best part being that the drive is short from the place where I live (McMinnville area). There are only two main boulders 10-15ft, with a few smaller ones in the area. At present there are only 11 completed problems ranging from about V0- thru V4. The rock varies in quality. But completed routes are solid enough. The routes require a lot of cleaning. Click Here for a small map and route descriptions. Not really worth your time unless you're local, meaning within a 30min drive. If your still interested here are the directions. From McMinnville, Oregon go east on Hwy 99W then take Hwy 47 north towards the town of Carlton and Yamhill. Drive on 47 to Yamhill passing thru Carlton. Once in Yamhill Continues straight until you begin to leave town, the road curves right. Here you turn left on Pike road. Follow Pike road for about 5 or 10 mins. Turn left on a gravel road called Rocky Ford. You should pass over a river immediately after turning off Pike Rd. Once on Rocky Ford take an immediate right on another gravel road. Drive about 200m and look to your left. Up on the hill are where the boulders are. If you do climb here I would greatly appreciate knowing.
