| The Nestucca R. Slab is a large lower angle slab of rock. The left side has the only route potental. I have done some top ropeing and the rock is okay. We started a route but only got the first few bolts in the rock. When top roping it many holds snaped off but it's getting better. The climb will be bolted soon but as of now it has no anchors!!! | |||||||||||||||||||

| Directions- from Newberg OR go south on 99w thru the town of dundee. Drive for about 5mi. Stay right and contiue to lafayette. Stay on 99w toward McMinnville. Before McMinnville take a right on Hwy 47. Take 47 to carlton. Take a left at carton toward meadow lake rd. Take meadow Lake Rd for a long time you should be on pavement the whole time. stay right at two turns. This leads to nestucca river road. you will pass Dovre campground. Start looking on your right for a gravel turn off and the cliff. It's visible from the road.. | |||||||||||||||||||
