Kings Cross is an area in London, England around the railway station of the same name. It is noted for working girls of whom Carol is one.
Cyberspace is anywhere you like and that is where Carol spends most of her time when she is not working. Carol is anyone she wants to be, either sex, dominant or submissive, short or tall - any other collection of opposites you can think of really.
Some experience of MUDs is useful but not essential. Read a chapter and then write more of that chapter or a new chapter of your own.
