King's
and Grantham Church School have finally received the 'Business
and Enterprise College' status! It was internally
announced today, and the schools will be receiving substantial
amounts of money due to the new status. As you may have
seen the school has just got 90 brand new computers. Maybe
this will give King's Technology College status too! With
the newly received status it looks very likely that the
petrol station site will be built on in the near future.

If any of you know people from
KG who may want to see the website, and join the forum
please do so, using the Tell
a Friend form on the Interact
page, or by any other way! The KG news for the site, and
KG section in the forum are looking very thin, so more
members from KG to keep us up to date would be appreciated.

is not yet confirmed. Any more details on this story will

Sorry about the Mini
Message Board on the Interact
page - it hasn't been working! It's all working again
now, and ready for posts! The good thing about it is that
you don't need to register to post, and it can also be
used as a shout out board, or a chat room!
A Contact us page has now
been added, so it is easier to post your comments or news
directly to us.

Good luck to all those who will
be doing exams next week! If you need help revising for
things why not try BBC Bitesize
revision. Even if you aren't doing your SATs,
GCSEs,
AS
Levels or A Levels this year you will still find it
useful to revise from!

I have now changed the forum so
you must be an active member (2 posts or above) to access
the general section. This is to get more posts and news
into the King's and KG sections. If you can't see the
General section anymore it is because you are an inactive
member. You must post more to see this section.

So the King's Petrol station fence
was destroyed again earlier this week, although
it has now been mended again. What do you think
the school should consider making the petrol station into?
How safe do you think the temporary fencing is? Post comments
in the forum.

the site at all that you request! If you want to see something

Mr. Ferguson from King's will
be doing an exchange with a teacher from New Zealand,
so he will not be leaving King's at the end of this school
year. Instead, however, he will be teaching in New Zealand
for a year, and King's will have a teacher from New Zealand
to teach PE at King's.

The
mess up day at King's yesterday wasn't very good. Hardly
any pranks and all the teachers getting, shall we say, a
little 'annoyed' by the rain. Shorruck shouldn't have confiscated
all of the footballs - it's a bloke school and taking away
the one thing we still are allowed to do of the
male instinct didn't seem that fair... |

Kings is re-submitting the joint
entry with Grantham Church School for a Business
and Enterprise College Status. The last submission
was turned down, and as a result of the resubmission there
will be inspectors in school on one of the coming Fridays,
I will try and find out the date. The senior management
have requested that all pupils should be dressed nealy
and be well mannered for the inspection.
Investigation into what goes into an application for
the status revealed that a one hundred page document has
to be created about the applying school. Getting the status
would allow the school to have extra funds, which would
hopefully see the Petrol Station built on.
