Crystal Wedding Compote Today's class will feature the pictured wedding bowl. I know why isn't there a piece of King's Crown featured here. I have seen this pattern mistaken numerous times over the years for King's Crown and thought we should clear this up. The opinion by some is it's red and clear and refered to as a wedding bowl it must be King's Crown. The funny thing is the pattern name is Crystal Wedding. There lies the confusion with the King's Crown wedding bowl. I suppose you could call this piece the Crystal Wedding wedding bowl to be correct. The pattern was originally made by Adams & Company starting in 1890 and later reproduced through the 1970's and later by Westmorland Glass Co. It was made in numerous different colors like King's Crown and has numerous different pieces in the set.
