I tried to talk to God today
He turned His head and walked away
He said “Hey son, you’re really on your own.

“The past is just a lesson lost
The Holy Grail, the Holocaust”
And walking out the door He tossed the throne.

The potter’s wheel gives finer things
Then what the constitution brings
And time will tell they tell us all the time

And the archer on the ancient bowl
Is guarding such an ancient hole
He can’t remember when to say his line

A TV movie holocaust
With anorexic models underfed
