Sometimes
to my loving wife, vanessa

sometimes the pain is unbearable, sometimes you wake up in the middle of the night to reach for her and find that you're all alone, sometimes yo want to scream and nothing will come out, sometimes you want to just leave and then you realize that you have no where to go, sometimes you just want to cry but then you can't, sometimes you want to let go but then you realize that you don't know how to, sometimes the only thing that gets you out of bed is the single very thought that maybe today is the day that you will get your life back, sometimes yo stay awake all night wondering if she is alright, sometimes yo stay awake all night thinking that at any moment she might walk back through the door, and sometimes you stay awake all night knowing that she will never walk through your door again...
The Most Famous Ones
dedicated to Lindsy Heman and Fonnie Davis

Even though the world may not know their names or even that they existed, I do, because they have all touched my heart and my soul in a way that could never be put into words.  I have lost a lot of friends that never knew how much I loved them and for that I'm very sorry but I'm more saddened when I think of all the people that were not as lucky to have known them as I did.  Even though they weren't famous in your eyes they were famous in mine, for all the love that we shared together, for all the joy they brought to my heart, and all the memories that we shared. They will live forever in the hearts of those of us that knew them well....
Dust to Dust
We came from dust and to dust we will go, "from dust to dust."  Now think about this, in the air there are millions of dust particals that we breath every day.  When we die we turn into dust and years later, that dust raises up to the surface and into the air.  When we breath in the dust particals they become a tiny part of us.  Then of course, when we have children, a part of us becomes a part of the baby, and of course a very, very tiny piece of the dust that is part of us ends up in the baby.  Dust has always been, and ahs no beginning and has no end.  That is the circle of life....
