Wildlife Round-Up for April 20-26, 2008
I'm a little late in posting this, but here is what came to our backyard for the week of April 20-26, 2008: The feral cats have still been hanging around, even though the weather has been slowly improving. It helps that they have a meadow to hunt in right behind our yard, so it doesn't look like any of them are wanting for food. Meowington has been consistently present, and we saw who we thing was White Paws--at least from the top it looked like White Paws--we couldn't see his/her feet to be able to tell if it was or not. Meowington also had a new guy friend this week, another orange tabby similar to the kitten we took in. This orange cat seemed to be a little bit bigger than Goblin, but not as big as the big orange cat we saw a month or two ago, so we are not sure if this is a litter mate of Goblin's, an older sibling, or even an unrelated orange tabby. One thing is certain--neither this orange cat or White Paws were among the ones we had spayed last fall. As for birds:
