Over the weekend, the 50th and 51st birds to my lifetime birdlist were added, and that is since I started keeping track of my lifetime birds last December, so in less than nine months' time.  What were those birds?  One was a turkey vulture, based on the underside of the wings of a bird of prey seen gliding over the Twin Cities, and the 51st was a Northern Harrier as it glided just over the level of the grass behind our house yesterday.
