Visions in my head

Stars collide, as your lips touch mine
How I wish we could live this moment for all time
Then the ground shakes, is starts tearing at the seams
That is when I realize that this is only in my dreams
I then envision us walking in the park
A light fog rises and I notice it is way after dark
The moon is hung high in the sky
And the world seems to stop, as I look deep in your eyes
You pull me close and kiss my hand
I begin to cry cause you are my man
You gently wipe a tear from my face
Then hold it close to your heart and fling it into space
The tear streaked like a comet across the sky
As you tell me I would have no more tears to cry
Your strong arms wrap around my waist
And I find myself again staring deeply at your face
I look in your eyes and see a story of words not said
And I then again realize that this is only in my head
I close my eyes and bury my head in your chest
The scent of your body puts my heart to the test
Slowly I feel your body start to rise
And the dream slowly fades as I open my eyes
A soft glow comes over me as I sit at the edge of the bed
Enkindled by the longing visions of you in my head
