| Sailor Moon is the story about a girl named Serena, who oneday meets up with a taking cat named Luna who gives her the power to transform into the superhero know as �Sailor Moon� and fight the evil Queen Baryl. Later on in the story, Serena meets up with Amy (Sailor Mercury), Raye (Sailor Mars), Lita (Sailor Jupiter), Mina (Sailor Venus), and Luna�s counterpart, a white cat named Artemis. And who can forget about Tuxedo Mask (Darien), Serena�s one true love and ally who always helps her out when she�s in trouble. Together they make the fighting team of the Sailor Soldiers who protect this world from the evil forces of the Negaverse. The story starts 3,000 years ago, when all the planets were at peace. Each planet had a princess (aka Sailor Scout) and a kingdom, and the moon kingdom was the most beautiful place of all. Queen Serenity�s daughter, Princess Serena had fallen in love with the prince of the earth� Prince Darien and they were to wed. But oneday, the evil Queen Baryl, escaped from her evil Negaverse into our universe and tried to destroy the kingdoms. Queen Serenity was able to repel the invasion, but only by sacrificing herself and sending all of her court and the Imperium Silver Crystal to the future on earth, telling Luna and Artemis that if the Negaverse ever tried to attack again, that they should revive the Sailor Soldiers. Well sure enough, in the future, the Negaverse tried to take control again, and the scouts were revived. They all meet up with each other one by one and defeated all of Queen Baryl�s henchmen. At the end of Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon, with help from the scouts, defeated Queen Baryl. Then the story went on to Sailor Moon R. Sailor Moon R started with the Ann/Allen saga, then moved on to the Crystal Tokyo Saga where Rini and Sailor Pluto are introduced. This where the NA dub ends, but its not the end of the Sailor Moon story. After Sailor Moon R comes Sailor Moon S, Sailor Moon SuperS and Sailor Moon Stars. It�s in these stories where the scouts meet up with Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Saturn and the Sailor Starlights. |
