| Wednesday, June 25, 2003 Dear loyal email listees, Well, here we are, arrived at the end of our time in Kingcome. Subsequently, this is our last mass letter. We leave tomorrow (tomorrow!!), taking a few days to make it back to Minneapolis, Minnesota. After 9 months, Nicole has taken on to saying "eh," although she says it the Kingcome way. Instead of, "Mom, didn't we go to Victoria?", it's "Mom, we went to Victoria, hey?" She fought it for a long time, this "eh" thing and finally gave in. Now that we are headed back to the U.S.eh, she'll have to re-assimilate....somehow. For those interested and in the vicinity, we are speaking at Faith Mennonite Church this Sunday, June 29, in Minneapolis. 2720 East 22nd Street at 9:30 a.m. We'll be sharing about our time here in Kingcome - more detailed than anything we have written in these letters so you can hear the real story! Fox News will be there, cameras rolling. We tried and tried, but we are unable to bring our cat back to the states with us. We left a cat before we moved here, and now we are leaving one behind again. Time, location and other factors make it close enough to impossible for Rocksie to come back with us. It's sad and we are looking forward to being in a permanent location so that we can have a forever pet. Even though we will no longer be in the Great White North, our email will remain the same so please continue to write and we will try our best to keep up our end of the deal. Thank you all for letting us write to you and thank you for your interest in our lives. Peace, JohnKristinNicole |
